I think that the vampire series "Blue Bloods" by Melisa de la Cruz should have been made into a movie istead of Twilight. Unlike Twilight, which is merely (and obviously) a teeny-bopper version of "Queen of the Damned", Blue Bloods is an original series of a higher reading level and age group, and focuses on a new world of Vampires that hasn't been told before, and does not center around romance.
It's fine if you think the Twilight books/movies are alright, but it's the fact that they're become way too overplayed and obsessed over that annoys me. It's only a book. It's not real. And it's NOT original. It doesn't deserve the attention that it gets, and I'm pleased to know that the many mature people in this world can see that.
