I was on a civil war database for a school project, and i decided for no apparent reason to look up Edward Cullen... There were fifteen results. I think SOMEONE is cutting a few years off of their age.... :D mlit
Edward is somewhat of a common name, do your research. And, one crucial fact, he isn't freaking real.

Edward Cullen was born during the 1900s in SMeyerverse. Civil war =/= 1900s.
Edward is actually a very common first name. It was, if you can believe it, actually invented before Twilight! As shocking as that may sound, it's true. And, believe it or not, so is Cullen. Therefore concluding that "Edward Cullen", is, like someone already said, a fairly common name.
