Today in history we were talking about the Spanish flu and I immediently thought of Edward :D
i did this tooo!
spanish influenza= modern day flu= swine flu= edward masen died from the swine= edward cullen
You're right, I don't immediately think of the millions of people who died amid the filth and squalor of a turn of the century hospital, removed from their families, weakened by a disease for which there was no real cure. I especially don't think of the soldiers, freshly back from the trenches and the horrors of a war fought with mustard gas and bayonets, with spades and flamethrowers, who survived while their friends died in agony beside them only to return home and be felled by the most malevolent of enemies. Nope, I think of a fictional character. Who, you know, survived. You are the worst kind of person.
@OP: Keep Edward as an inspiration to learn more about the Spanish Flu.
In relation to what ShadowReaperWhatever just said, don't. In fact, please don't ever take a history class. My profession would be made less for having to deal with people like you.
