Today our English teacher said that we would be studying Romeo and Juliet for the last couple of months of the year. Now I'm really excited, because Edward and Bella watched Romeo and Juliet together in New Moon. MLIT

.....EVERY student watches Romeo and Juliet in English class sometime. And it's not as romantic as Meyer portrayed it to be. It's really about the stupidity of young lovers.

^ Seriously, it's all about Mercutio and Tybalt. D: Romeo and Juliet were airheaded lovers who didn't even think about consequences and just went straight ahead with what they thought was love. Dx Argh, pisses me off when Shakespeare gets dumped with a load of retarded fangirls/boys who only love it because of Twlight.

Just because Stephenie Meyer has to name-drop good literature to make Bella (and herself) seem smarter doesn't make her a good author.

It's a pity Stephenie Meyer didn't follow in Shakespeare's footsteps and have the two main characters kill themselves.

Ugh.. You're what I call a "superficial twihard". Only seen the movies. In the books, Bella reads Romeo and Juliet a few times, watches it at her house before going to her birthday, and Edward says ALL of Romeo's lines along with him. THAT is something to cause excitement over.

To team_ron: That is *exactly* how i wanted to have Breaking dawn end. It would have made everything perfect. Oh, Shakespeare was so smart. It really is a shame that Tw*l*ght and Stephanie Meyer couldn't have at least had that going for them. Tsk tsk.

If Edward had died, I would have cheered. Then burned the twilight series and danced on the flaming ashes. Anyone care to join?

@Fyreflie: *sticks hand in air* Ooh, can I join? I have more hidden in the back of my closet, underneath a ton of shoes and HP bags, to add to the fire. We could have a party! @team_dobby: First, I love your name. Second, ... I forgot... I got too excited at the prospect of having a Deathday party for Tw*l*ght... Oh yeah, I remember now! That was the only reason I read the last book; I was hoping that SMeyer came to her senses at the last minute and killed them...

Rather than being excited that you get to watch a movie of one of the greatest plays of all time by a brilliant writer? SAD.

Did you know Romeo and Juliet was written by William Shakespeare? Not Stephanie Meyer?

You can NEVER compare the genius of William Shakespeare to the Twilight Saga. Haven't you realized a whole bunch of stories are based off of Romeo and Juliet?

If only Twilight ended the same way Romeo and Juliet did.
