I am a die-hard Edward fan, and honestly I can't see why people like Jacob. My friend told me today that every time the word "Jacob" is said I make a face that isn't short of disgust. I guess it has just turned habitual :) Edward, I love you not a stupid dog!

Actually, Jacob is a wolf and not a dog, they are two different species and also, wolves are smarter than dogs. I know these things because I like wolves but I'm not on team Jacob, b/c I hate him, I also hate Edward so I'm on Team Dumbledore.

@OP: People like Jacob because he guided and healed Bella throughout one of the hardest times of her life (when Edward left her). He also tried to be a good friend and bf when Edward came back, and he sacrificed a lot for Bella. He's one of the best characters in the book.

I despise Twilight. And anything to do with it. But if I had to choose between Edward & Jacob, I'd choose Jacob. Probably because although he's hot-headed & isn't an actual werewolf (just some shape-shifter), at least he's not a 100-year-old stalker gay fairy boy who is way too over-protective. And he actually likes Bella for who she is, at least WAY more than Edward does. But why am I bothering with this? I hate both of them 'cause I hate the entire saga!
